Radek Špicar graduated from Charles University and the University of Cambridge. He is a former Deputy Prime Minister for the Economy and later a member of the Škoda Auto management. For several years he also led the Central European branch of the American think-tank Aspen Institute. He currently serves as Vice President of the Confederation of Industry and Transport of the Czech Republic and Vice President of Business Europe, the largest European employers' association. Maria Vassilakou started her political career as Secretary General of the Austrian Students’ Union. In November 1996, she became a Member of the Vienna Provincial Parliament and Head of the Parliamentary Group of the Green Party in 2004. From November 2010 until July 2019, Maria served as Deputy Mayor of Vienna and Executive City Councillor for Urban Planning, Traffic & Transport, Climate Protection, Energy, and Public Participation.

After reading French and Italian literature at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL) and obtaining a degree in Public and International Affairs at the University Catholique de Louvain-la-Neuve (UCL), Kurt gained a Master of Arts degree in International Relations at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (S.A.I.S.) in Bologna, Italy and Washington D.C., US.

Juraj has an academic background from three continents – Prague University of Economics, Harvard University, and Singapore Management University. Mrs Petra Bußwald has started working in the field of sustainable digitization already 30 years ago resulting in a very rich expertise and experience track. She holds a degree in 'technical mathematics' (informatics, economics, statistics) and 'technical protection of the environment' from the University of Technology in Graz / Austria; where she also worked on modelling, publications and implementation for the research projects 'EDP-based environmental management' and 'emission cataster'. From 1994 to 1998 she was responsible for the IT team and developed the methodology for a software tool for material and environmental balancing in an Austrian company.
In 1999 she founded www.akaryon.com together with Franz Niederl, a research colleague, based on former multi-year cooperation. Dan is an expert on sustainability in business. In 2018, he started a company for consultancy in sustainability, Fair Venture. It serves for analyzing impacts, setting strategies, and conducting ESG reports. Later in 2021, Dan co-created a startup Impact Metrics. It focuses on the evaluation of ESG data based on research and automated tool. Both companies experienced dynamic development last two years thanks to the general interest in ESG.
Dan also helped to establish NGO Změna k lepšímu, a network of businesses interested in corporate sustainability and relevant legislation.

Petr had worked in the corporate sector for several years and thus experienced the banking business from the side of the client. Petr was active in the revitalization and rescue of companies in financial problems and gained the experience as a crisis manager. 
He started his banking career as an analyst at Česká Spořitelna in 2001. Responsible for setting the Innovation Agenda at Kingspan Group Plc. The Group is focussed on decarbonising the product set and developing circular solutions for the building material industry under the Planet Passionate program.
